Klyv presents during a royal visit to Oslo Science Park

April 16, 2026

Klyv founder and CEO Maria Vistnes presented the company’s cardiac fibrosis drug development work to Crown Prince Haakon and Prince Sverre Magnus during a royal visit to Forskningsparken – Oslo Science Park. The presentation took place at Startuplab, the early-stage investor and start-up community based at the park.

The visit was part of a wider tour of the science park, where the Crown Prince and Prince Sverre Magnus met founders from several of the companies based there and saw demonstrations of their work. Startuplab also hosted a lunch and roundtable discussion on the opportunities and barriers facing growing businesses in Norway — a conversation about how the country can better support early-stage companies as they develop.

For Klyv, an early-stage company working on new treatments for cardiac fibrosis and heart failure, it was a valuable opportunity to share its science with a wider audience and to take part in a broader discussion about building research-driven companies in Norway. The team was grateful for the chance to show what it is working towards.
